All those ads on TV for hair products have a lot to answer
for. I want hair like that – silky soft, shiny and
manageable that gives you an amazing bounce in your step, perfect
teeth and flawless skin too. I don’t know about you but
I’m worth it!

We’ve started with a big hitter that unfortunately
didn’t live up to expectations. Packaging nice – but
expected glass not plastic for the price. It claims to smooth
frizz and reduce static – two complaints I suffer from
– but it didn’t achieve either. Sorry Trevor!

Charles Worthington Dream Hair Conditioning Souffle -
£5.99 for 150ml
The star hairdressers aren’t doing too well. Yes this product
made my hair soft and smooth – but so does my normal everyday
conditioner. I wanted something a bit special but was disappointed.
Nice attractive packaging and delicious smell though.

Tresemme Vitamin E and Pro-Vitamin B5 Treatment Masque -
£3.44 for500ml
I love the Tresemme shampoo and normal conditioner so was expecting
great things from this treatment masque. Unfortunately it
didn’t particularly improve the normal appearance of my hair.
This particular product was meant for coarse, dry hair though,
which mine isn’t so it may fair better on someone else. It is
great value for money though.

Sheer Blonde Hair Repair - £5.49 for 150ml
My hair normally requires a smoothing serum to keep it in check but
this product seemed to give me back a bit of control –
amazing! It’s nicely designed in a screw-top tub with a
subtle flowery scent.

L’Oreal Elvive Colour Protect Intensive Masque -
£3.99 for200ml
I am definitely keeping this one! I only used this product twice in
one week and was impressed with how shiny and soft my hair
was. It nourishes, protects and prolongs colour vibrancy, and
has a slightly fruity scent which stays on your hair making me pull
strands under my nose all day. Definitely worth it!
